Bob Meyer had some good luck the week the Professor's were up chasing walleye. Above, a chubby 42 incher.
Something slightly smaller........
An interesting pose..........
Finally the rumoured fish that Gord apparently caught. Yes, it is a muskie, but how big? You'll just have to wait for the Beaver newsletter to find out!
Buck and I will bring Gin on Saturday. Maybe we can get you a little "loose" and you will tell us how big your fish was. Way to go Bob. A couple of nice ones. Glad they're moving.

Awe come on Gord don't keep us hanging?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a 52"er on my guess?
Nice musky either way hope to see some more pics of it so we get a better look?
Beaver newsletter when does it come out in 2010 May?
ReplyDeleteThat must be the Fat Bastard version with the green spinner blades?
ReplyDeleteHerbie
No Herbie, that's the "Green Hornet".......
ReplyDeleteIt was 43", to be exact . . . .
ReplyDeleteThank you "anonymous", or should I say Bob Meyer, for clearing up my error.
ReplyDelete43"er that was it it?
ReplyDeleteCome on Gord musky in Eagle lake werew born that size.
You should be able to crack 50 with your eyes closed, you should have been casting those topwater baits the Eagle Lake musky's love em....
I believe the 43 incher refers to the pic of Bob's fish which I mistakenly said was 42. My fish was bigger than that! How big? Let's just say we didn't even try and net it........
ReplyDeleteI CALL BULLSHIT ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHAHA!!!
The reference to the net is TRUE.....Bob forgot the net on the dock, thus "we didn't even try and net it" is correct.
