I will try to get a sound track added but it didn't like the format of the audio clip I tried to use.

  2. Hi Andy...You have acquired a nice photo collection over the years with many good trips involving family and friends. I'm pleased to have shared several of these with you. Fishing out of VBL on Eagle and the portage lakes has resulted in us becoming much better anglers. I look forward to future VBL adventures with you.

  3. O.K. Perchmaster...was the fish house picture yours? Also, give it another try. It now has sound. Who is that guy catching all the big fish?

  4. Professor,

Of course you introduced me to Vermilion Bay Lodge! Haven't had a bad trip yet. And of course there was the first trip and lots of conversations about making better use of the web and social media? I think Gord's come a long ways.

  5. Good work Andy! You get extra points for the closing credits (however I may have to dock you for your taste in music). The picture of the professor in clown make-up holding that muskie is seriously disturbing!

  6. Hi Andy...Yes, indeed. Gord has come a long way with technology--much further than I ever imagined possible. Perhaps someday he will be able to accept the practical value of clown make-up as as way of triggering big fish to bite.

  7. Good one Joe! Just think how big that muskie could have been if only you had on your "nose" and "large feet" !

  8. Welcome to "Bamboo Mark" as a contributor to the Electric Beaver! Don't be shy now Mark! As one of the Perch Queens you are an untapped vessel of perch fishing knowledge......and Perchmaster's mentor.

  9. Yo Andy
Might want to give us some info on how you did that on youtube.
I went on there and could only find a place to do videos. I suppose you might have put those pictures in one folder and did it that way?

  10. Gord...Let's get something straight. That beautiful muskie that I'm holding was a fish that Andy caught on a crawler harness. He let me hold it so that I could know what a nice one feels like. Secondly, I wear the clown make-up primarily to prevent sunburn and skin cancer. Plus, Andy thinks I look good that way. Lastly, the natural size of my feet and nose are big enough to make further enhancements unnecessary. Remember, we are just trying to trigger a bite out of curriosity, not scare the fish. Let me put it another way--You didn't stuff the crotch of your pants with heavy wool socks when you were first courting Susanne, did you?

  11. WOW Joe nothing like hitting below the belt!!!
And what you and Andy do on your own time is your business, we don't need to know anymore.
It is starting to make me think you should join Gord and his gang on there hunting trip.

  13. Here is a tip for the other posters in response to the perchmaster. He will have to mentor the grasshopper Mark on how to do this.

I was searching the web for some free movie making software when I stumbled across a post reminding me that windows has a free application for this purpose...windows movie maker.

Depending on your version of windows, click on "start", click on "all programs", click on "accessories", click on "entertainment", and then click on "windows movie maker". I find it rather easy to work with.

If you have images, you start off by importing pictures to the desktop within windows movie maker. You can then drag those images on the desktop down into the timeline. Same thing for audio. Import audio or music to the desktop, and then drag the file down to the audio/music line of the timeline.

I have to play with this a little more, but for each picture you can add effects. There is a window where you can preview your work. When you are done you can save it as a project within movie maker or save it as a movie file and upload to youtube (click on "file", "save movie file")

If it would be helpful, I could do this as a separate post with screen captures illustrating the steps. Let me know.
